The North Wales Coast
The North Wales Coast runs for approximately twenty miles. Along the coastline there are mainly long sandy beaches, broken by the occasional headland. The main road closely follows the coastline, taking you through a variety of towns and villages from Penmaenmawr in the west to Prestatyn in the east. The coastline has many tourist resorts including Rhyl, Conwy, and Llandudno. The North Wales coast railway runs closely along the coast from Crewe in England to Holyhead in Wales. There are many footpaths and cycle roots along the coastline for all abilities.
