 Charter House is a grade 2 listed Georgian Town house (cira 1725) that was originally built as a gentleman's residence but was also used as a vicarage until 1983. It was extended early in the 19th century and again in 1937 but still retains some of the original features.

The accommodation comprises of a hallway that retains its original dado panelling, mosaic tiled floor and open well stair case, ground floor cloakroom, sitting room with raised and fielded panelling, a living room, a dining room (all of which have panelled shutters), kitchen/breakfast room and utility room. Up stairs there are 5 good sized bedrooms 4 of which still have the original fire places in, plus a single room, shower room and bathroom.

At the front of the house is a paved patio area with a raised flower bed. To the rear is a good sized garden that is laid mainly to lawn with a few trees and shrubs.
