Welcome to our unique cottages in Loch Lomond

The Old Schoolhouse comprises of four, self-catering houses set within the small hamlet of Milton of Buchanan in the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park; just over a mile from Balmaha and approximately 2.5 miles from Drymen.

The 2 x three-bedroom and 2 x two-bedroom properties have been restored and furnished to give a contemporary feel.

The living rooms in the two-bedroom houses have an open-plan, modern feel. They include flat screen TVs, Sky with Sky Movies and Sky Sports, and high-speed fibre Wi-Fi.  The two-bedroom properties have a contemporary, stylish shower room downstairs and two double bedrooms upstairs.

In addition to the above, the three-bedroom houses are set over four levels and have a beautiful, natural-slate feature wall, viewed from the mezzanine living area. The three-bedroom properties have a modern family bathroom and a shower room opposite the master bedroom.  All bedrooms are doubles, including the sofa in the living area.  The kitchen/diner in these two properties boasts a large American Fridge Freezer.

Each house is equipped with the necessary appliances and equipment for a very pleasant getaway, e.g., dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, hairdryer, iron, travel cot, highchair etc.

The houses have an outdoor area for seating, accessible from the patio doors in the kitchen/diner and open plan gardens. Dogs are welcome; please enquiry for further information.

Three of the four houses have their own individual hot tub.  Please know that one of the two-bedroom houses has no hot tub.

Houses can be hired individually or as a whole unit (all 4 houses).  All houses booked together can comfortably sleep 20 guests, and with the addition of sofa beds in each of the living areas you could sleep up to 28.
