Our B&B is situated in the small town of Maybole in the heart of South Ayrshire, ideally situated for exploring the county and all it has to offer -  Culzean Castle and Country Park, Cycle Route 7, Burns Country, and the world class golf course at Turnberry. Dumfries House is a short drive away and is well worth a visit. There is local curiosity of the Electric Brae that will intrigue guests. The views from the nearby Ayrshire coast are spectacular and, on a good day, the Kintyre Peninsula and Northern Ireland are visible, along with Ailsa Craig and Arran.

We are close to Culzean Castle,Dalduff Barn and Blairquhan Castle which are wedding venues locally. There is a local taxi service that can provide transport to, and from, the venue. 

We offer two rooms - the Glasgow and Oriental Rooms.

The Glasgow Room, 30 square metres, is a large, sunny, bright room to the front of the house with views over the town and countryside. The room retains many original features that are reminiscent of the Glasgow School and the Arts&Crafts movement. It has a Zip&Link 6ft bed with goose down duvet and pillows. There is an ensuite shower room with wash hand basin and toilet. This room can also be set up as a twin or a single.

The Oriental Room, 20 square metres, is to the rear of the house with views to the garden and the surrounding countryside. It has a 6ft bed with goose down duvet and pillows and a luxury en-suite bathroom with walk-in monsoon shower, egg shaped bath, toilet and twin wash hand basins.

Both rooms have a TV twin usb charging points, wardrobe, hairdryer and tea and coffee making facilities. Non-allergenic bedding is available, if required, please advise at the time of booking.

There is a large guest lounge which has many Arts&Crafts features and an open fire.

Breakfast is served in our dining room with an extensive choice and variety. This room has original features reminiscent of the Glasgow School and Charles Rennie Mackintosh. The menu has vegetarian options on it with fresh fruit salad and other items.

There are excellent local public transport links that are within 150 metres of the house. The local bus service passes the house and the bus stop is only 15 metres from the gate. The railway station is 150 metres away and has a good service to Ayr, Glasgow and Stranraer. There is also a direct service to Edinburgh from Ayr.
