Netherfield B&B Scottish Highlands Family friendly B&B for romantic breaks ideal for Adventure holidays in Grantown-on-Spey, The Highlands, Scotland

We welcome you to Netherfield, our highlands-escape. Our B&B has amazing views from our rooms and the garden towards the Braes of Cromdale and The Cairngorm Mountains. We have 2 very spacious first floor rooms, both with large showers en-suite, between the rooms is an airy, light sitting area with information and maps. Both rooms have free Wi-Fi, Sky Freeview T.V and hospitality trays. We provide all you need to be comfortable and relax over your stay. Breakfast is taken in our downstairs dining room where you can watch numerous wild birds and the charming Red Squirrels feed on their own breakfast of nuts and seeds.

Cairngorm room, as the name suggests has stunning views over the Cairngorms; we have upgraded (Jan 2014) to provide a superior King size room with comfortable seating, bath robes, and a complimentary local Malt Whisky on your arrival.

Cromdale room is large and provides an excellent space for either a couple, or for a family of four. A king size bed with 2 twin beds, giving you the flexibility to use this room as a couple, share with friends, or for a family. A cot is also available to you in either room.

Netherfield is situated within easy reach of Castles, The Whisky Trail, Highland walking, Fishing the famous Spey River, and home to a variety of great outdoor activities.  At the end of your day a short five minute walk takes you to two different restaurants. The Riverside, (closed Sunday and Monday nights) and The Tigh na Sgiath Hotel, both would need to be booked as they are popular.

Loch Ness, with its boat trips, and the Moray Firth, where Dolphins can be spotted off the coast of The Black Isle, and are both within an easy day’s trip form Netherfield.  We are situated just 3 miles from Grantown-on-Spey, and 10 miles from Aviemore in the village of Dulnain Bridge, famous for its 'Twin Flower' sites in nearby forest land.
