A small brewery, intensely independent and committed to the production of oraganic and innovative beer. The brewery is open to the public and their well-stocked shop sells their own extensive range of beer and other produce made using their products.
Black Isle Brewing Co. makes world class beers using the finest organic ingredients – that means the malt and hops are grown without artificial pesticides and herbicides, as nature intended. We aim to become the UK's Premier Organic Brewery. Among our many awards, recently we have twice won the Soil Association Organic Food and Drink awards in 2009 and 2010 and siba champion Beer of Scotland in 2009.
We will guide you through the whole miraculous process of turning a grain of malted barley into beer. We finish the tour with a taste of the final product.
Please book in advance if in a group of 10 or more.
Our full range of beers, seasonal specials, local produce and Brewery merchandise are available in our shop.
