The award-winning Drayton Manor Theme Park is inviting families to celebrate the festive season at its popular Thomas Land™ attraction. Drayton’s Magical Christmas will see Europe’s only Thomas Land transformed into a winter wonderland. There will be festive musical performances by the Fat Controller and his friends, colourful decorations, thousands of lights and snow machines, releasing a flurry of snow at least three times a day. The park will also show a brand new film in its fabulous 4D Cinema. Sleigh Ride tells the hilarious story of reindeer, Blitzen, and hapless elf, Bobo, as they race around the world to deliver presents to children, after Santa is accidentally knocked unconscious on Christmas Eve. Visitors will be able to watch the movie in 3D while seated in specially designed chairs, which give the 4D experience by reacting to scenes in the film by moving up and down, releasing sprays of water, bursts of air, bubbles and various smells. The park’s ever-popular 15-acre zoo will also remain open throughout the festive season.
