Deep in the  mysterious Llangovan Valley outside Monmouth , Orchard House stands on the Jareta stable farm where classical  Spanish horses are bred and trained. The large rural estate include fields, walking trails, Llangovan Brook, 40 acres of cider apple trees  and the beautiful  Gaer Wood , unimpeded views of the Brecon Beacons, and in springtime masses of the rare British Bluebell – the scent has to be experienced to be believed. Please note that because of it's location this house is not suitable for raucous parties.

The house is a luxurious, light-filled, 10 bedroom, 8 bathroom retreat with games room, large TV lounge, disabled facilities and panoramic views without traffic or noise. For lovers of “Dark Skies” and unspoilt countryside it’s a rare opportunity. Outside there's terraces, a barbecue area and firepit.

The house sleeps up to 24 people and is perfect for birthday celebrations, reunions, and holiday breaks. You can walk through the fields  into the private woods, bike on  lanes with hardley any traffic, canoe or cruise the nearby River Wye , enjoy masses of local activities and award winning pubs and restaurants.

If you want something a little less energetic you can just kick back and take a drink on the terrace watching the buzzards drift lazily over the acres of cider orchards below you with nothing but the sounds of the horses  in the fields.

Designated a remarkable natural landscape in an area of outstanding natural beauty, Orchard House lies 10 minutes from Monmouth and 20 minutes from Chepstow and the Severn Bridge.
