Hafton Castle is a magnificent building overlooking Holy Loch. It has a large indoor heated swimming pool, plenty of reception rooms, 19 en-suite bedrooms, sleeping 42 persons. It is licensed for weddings. Lovely Gardens, plenty of parking.
Welcome to our Large Castle in Scotland
Hafton Castle is a magnificent historic building with views across Holy Loch, set in delightful gardens with the added benefit of a large indoor heated swimming pool. There are 19 bedrooms, all ensuite and the castle can sleep up to a maximum of 42 persons.
We also have two cottages situated next to the Castle which can be let separately or combined with a Castle booking. They would provide extra accommodation for 6 further guests who would then have access to the Castle.
Each Cottage overlooks the sea with beautiful views and they each have a balcony and a garden, two bedrooms one double and one single and a lounge, kitchen and bathroom. There is level access to each cottage.
Hafton Castle and its grounds are licensed for civil wedding ceremonies and it is the ideal venue for intimate family weddings. Many of our couples extend their stay and enjoy further time with their friends and family. We can help by offering local caterers, musicians, florists etc.
The Castle is a superb house with its wonderful indoor pool, billiard room, library, dining room, superb reception hall, small drawing room, opening onto large drawing room., spacious conservatory and lots of outdoor space with terrace and gardens, in fact plenty of space for the large number of people it sleeps. The splendid reception hall has plenty of seats, wood-burner and a grand piano.
The bedrooms are comfortable and all have en-suite showers. The building has some magnificent features, beautiful ceilings, carved doors and a superb staircase.
Hafton Castle can be reserved for exclusive use, for self-catering. It is the perfect venue for weddings, reunions, corporate events, birthday parties, all sorts of gatherings.

Hafton Castle is ideally situated ouside Dunoon on the Cowal Peninsula in Argyll, the surrounding area is incredibly beautiful and the Castle is very accessible as it can be reached from Glasgow Airport in only 45 minutes by road.
