East Cally Lodge is a unique Baronial style Lodge offering self catering accommodation for two persons in the picturesque village of Gatehouse of Fleet (Dumfries & Galloway, Scotland). 
The Lodge boasts a wealth of history, decorated in the 'Arts & Crafts' style but still provides all the comforts of home. Staying at East Lodge in summertime with it's beautiful French doors, lets you bring in the sun or bask on the patio enjoying a glass of wine. Whilst in wintertime the sitting room open fire will really bring a warm glow to your holiday. Located on the edge of 'Cally Estate’, which houses the extensive Cally woods, you'll be able to enjoy miles of walks amid beautiful trees and countryside.

East Cally Lodge offers the following accommodation.

• Fully equipped kitchen with electric cooker, fridge freezer, microwave and washer/dryer.
• The snug/dining room is linked through to the kitchen. There is gas central heating throughout the lodge which is included in rental. French doors open out onto the patio giving the room extra depth in Summer.
• The living room has an open fire making nights in extra cosy, (1 basket of logs is supplied).
• There's a downstairs cloakroom with toilet, sink and overhead dryer.
• A spiral stone carpeted staircase is located in the turret.
• The bedroom with double bed has en-suite bathroom with shower cubicle and bath. Towels are included in rental.
• Wi-Fi, 3 x TVs with Free Sat, Radio/CD player, Record/Radio/CD player, 2 x dvd players.
• A selection of books, dvds, cds, jigsaws and games.
• There's parking off road for 2 cars and a fenced garden patio with seating area and BBQ.
• The Lodge will be happy to accept one small dog.
• For cyclists there is a purpose built bike store to house 2 x bikes. Fully secure with both combination and padlock. There's drying facilities via a pulley operated ceiling maiden in the down stairs cloakroom.
• Children will not be accepted.

Where is the lodge situated?

Gatehouse of Fleet is no more than a 10 min walk and lies on the edge of the Galloway Forest Park which is one of Scotland's national scenic areas. Nestling at the tip of the Fleet estuary the town has plenty to offer from stunning hill and costal scenery, to an historic castle and award winning food within its pubs, restaurants and cafes. There's also a chemist, two small supermarkets, gifts shops and a post office. Gatehouse boasts 2 golf courses, a tennis court, fishing and plentiful hills to ramble. Being costal there are many beaches and coves to discover and stunning views to feast your eyes upon.
