Vindolanda is perched a hill looking directly to the sea, 300M away, and to the staggering Torridon Mountains, behind which the sun rises at the sets behind the inner islands casting cloud and uplighting clouds along the length of the Loch at which time the scene is flooded with hues of pinks and blues.

The expansive views are staggering and ever changing; new drama each time you gaze over it. 

There is a beautiful safe sheltered sandy beach just meters away from the front door, with superb rocks for exploring, but at low and high tide.

There is much to explore within walking distance in the Applecross hill walks and secluded sandy beaches

The accommodation provides a high degree of  modern comfort in traditional design, moreover, the cottage allows permanent contact to be maintained with the outside from anywhere within.
