Welcome to our self catering Cottages in Brittany

La Vieille Ferme offers an entrance-hall, corner kitchen, dining area and salon with a settee and armchairs, granite fireplace with a wood burning fire, a washroom/toilet on the ground floor. Upstairs offers 1 double bedroom, one with twin beds and a 3rd bedroom with bunk beds & also a cot. One bathroom has bath & basin whilst the other has shower, basin & toilet. There is also a separate toilet on this floor.  As its name implies La Vieille Ferme was the old farmhouse when we bought La Julerie in 2000 and completely renovated all of the buildings into attractive comfortable holiday homes. 
The 4 Gites at La Julerie are set in an ideal location for family holidays or for groups of up to 24 people (+babies) with enough space for all sit and to dine together in La Vieille Ferme; although situated in a quiet rural location the properties are close to many safe sandy beaches and historic towns; an ideal location to enjoy golf, walking, sightseeing, cycling, water sports or equestrian activities.  However some guests just laze around at La Julerie and enjoy the peace!  Many birds & wildlife are seen in area. Indoor heated pool (open Easter-till late) & games room. The other 3 gites in the complex at La Julerie are

1.Les Etables aux Hirondelles 2 bedrooms, upstairs bathroom, downstairs shower room sleeps 4 + baby

2. Les Ecuries is designed to welcome disabled guests, sleeps 5/6. Upstairs 2 bedrooms + settee bed on wide landing (ideal 2 children or 1 adult), bathroom, although there isn't a bedroom on ground floor a single bed can be placed at rear of salon behind a screen if a guest cannot climb the stairs, the sofa also converts to a double bed. shower room on ground floor with wheelchair access.

3. Le Grenier sleeps 8 + babies in 3 en-suite bedrooms, on 1st floor 1 double has en-suite bathroom whilst other has en-suite shower room, on upper floor family room with 2 single beds, a full size sofa which converts to comfortable doublebed & a cot, its en-suite bathrooom is everyone's favourite with its French styled stand alone bath, bidet, toilet and basin.

All 4 gites have corner kitchens with all the appliances, crockery etc you could require

Special Features:

Close to St Malo ferry port (30ml & Dinard airport (20ml) 20% Ferry discounts available when travelling with Brittany Ferries, pets by prior agreement.
We have all of the facilities and equipment for families with babies and young children, cots, high chairs etc. To make packing easier, we now provide swimming towels for every guest in our inclusive tariff. Wedding Receptions or Special Events for up to 40 guests can be held in the Games Room, this room has a table tennis table, a seating area, 2 showers/changing rooms, a selection of books for all, and toys and games for the children.

For security reasons access to the indoor/outdoor pool (its covers open) is only through the games room; the pool is 9x4 m with a level depth of 1.65m ideal for parents with young children as parents can stand anywhere in pool but also good for all to enjoy a “proper swim” The other 3 sides of the pool are in a walled patio area which is a suntrap & the place to put your feet up on a sun lounger

La Julerie is 20mins (18km) from the coast where there are many safe sandy beaches, cliff walks and walks to offshore islands, the children will love doing this & collecting shells etc.Both St Jacut & Laancieux have sailing & kite surfing schools,it is best to book places prior to holiday 

Historic Dinan is 12km world famous Mont St Michel, Cancale for oysters & Rennes regional capital are all about 1hr's drive

Lydiane, our daughter in law (English and French speaking) has her hair salon on site- a note in our Visitors book (Oct 2011) says "Our 2nd time at La Julerie, and I hope it won't be our last! Hard to say what we have enjoyed the most...the promenade at Dinard, the shells at St Lunaire, Dinan Castle...probably the best thing is the simple calm and comfort of La Julerie itself. Our top tip of the week Ask Lydiane to cut your hair- you'll go home a different person
