In a pretty flint-stone fishing village is  Stable Cottage. The frontage is handsome, the setting is leafy, the seclusion is delightful. Nick and Barbara will welcome you on arrival and give you the 'tour'. Wow, what a cottage - think show home instead. Mattresses are firm, linen is new, there's a garden room for kids (table football, PlayStation2, a dvd player and a flurry of games) plus Champagne*, milk and home made cake on arrival. Plus a flatscreen TV in every room – the lounge has a 42" TV with bt premium TV package + HD. Bedrooms – the two upstairs having leafy views, the twin sitting prettily under the roof – are smart, pristine and enlivened by Grundig surround sound. Curtains are of thick damask, furniture is crafted from American oak, bathrooms sparkle and have heated rails for white fluffy towels. Downstairs, glass doors framed by lush gold curtains glide open to reveal a secure garden in apple-pie order and a hot tub topped by a hat of thatch – wallow with a bottle of bubbly under the stars.

Enjoy the luxury self-catering experience in the sumptuous lounge, which has two leather sofas and a coveted 'love seat’, free superfast WiFi at no additional cost available throughout the cottage and walled garden. There is a remote real flame gas fire with bespoke stone fire place, surround-sound stereo system, dvd and 42” plasma TV with  Sky+ package. The patio doors offer a panoramic view of the spectacular secluded south-facing walled garden, with luxury patio furniture, hot tub and outside shower. The luxury hot tub, which is set within a thatched canopy, is automatically heated to a perfect 38°c from 8.00am to 10.00pm each day, allowing you to enjoy an indulgent bubbly massage at any time and let your stresses just fade away. The mature garden has a Mediterranean flavour and has been carefully designed to extend the indulgent experience, which includes the luxury gas bbq and automatic designer lighting for evening al-fresco dining and entertaining. At the end of the walled garden there is a small children's playroom "Tack Room', with easy access, equipped with a sofa, Playstation 2, tv, football table and many games. There is also an outdoor table tennis table for more energetic guests.
