This comfortable accommodation has charming oak beamed ceilings in both the ample living area, complete with wood burner and the spacious bedroom with huge super king sized bed (can be converted into twin beds).

A well equipped, modern kitchen provides everything you might need for those cosy evenings in and the self contained garden with patio furniture and bbq, boasts beautiful borders and a large pond for those warm, starry summer nights.

You can explore numerous country walks starting right from the Granary's doorstep, or enjoy a drink in the dog friendly village pub, The Black Horse, which also offers lunchtime and evening meals as well as a handy take away service.

Thorndon's village shop is open 7 days a week and stocks excellent local produce as well as essentials and All Saints' Church, dating from the 13th C is steeped in fascinating history.
