Spixworth Hall Cottages offer self-catering holidays throughout the year with good access to the Norfolk Broads, coast and sea. Norwich, Norfolk's beautiful cathedral city, is just five miles away.  All the cottages are rated 4 star and provide quality furnishings and fittings within 300 year old heritage buildings with views across farm and woodland with access to our own fishing lake.  Please note that our lake in 2021 is not in use for tree & depth maintenance works.

We farm across 700 acres and holiday makers have the freedom to roam  the countryside on our private footpaths and bridleways, through bluebell woods and along the meadows. Here you have space to relax and unwind in warm welcoming cottages with cosy log fires as well as central heating in winter.

Our cottages have Wi-Fi, T.V.s, dvd players, electric ovens and hobs, microwaves, fridges and freezers, washing machines, tumble dryers and dish washers, games and books and attractive gardens with barbeques,and garden furniture.  The games barn is  equipped with snooker, table tennis, table football, bikes and trikes for smaller children.There is also an outside  play area with swings and a climbing frame..  The Swimming Pool and Tennis Court are just a few minutes walk away from the cottages on the farm.

Nearby Norwich is a bustling city with many historic buildings: the Norman Castle and Cathedral, the Tudor Guildhall, Dragon Hall, the Georgian Assembly House, and the Octagon Chapel  which jostle among numerous churches.  It is also brilliant for shopping, has a lively night life and many cinemas and theatres. 

Norfolk is a rural county bounded by the sea to the north and east  with Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty creating great bird watching  on the nature reserves.  The Rivers Bure, Wensum, and Yare  flow through the middle of the county and with the shallow lakes created by peat digging in medieval times make up an extensive area of waterways that form the Norfolk Broads.  Pensthorpe Bird Sanctuary  used by Spring Watch is just half an hour  away.  For the children The Dinosaur Park and Bewilderwood are really popular attractions.
