This beautifully refurbished manor in a fabulous garden setting makes the perfect retreat for celebrating that special occasion. There are two 'parts' to Bossington Hall - The Bed and Breakfast part, and the self catering apartment. They may be rented separately or together. 

In the Self contained, disabled accessible apartment, called Ash Cove is One bedroom, and two sofa beds in the lounge for 3 kids. The Master bedroom is accessible, with a huge wetroom, travertine marble tiled. The spacious kitchen is well equipped, and plenty of seating for 5 to dine. The Lounge has a pair of french doors leading to a private terrace area, leading onto the 'public' terrace with even more stunning views. Allerford View has private parking, and a private entrance, with key access. Guests have access to the Cinema in the Bed and Breakfast (booking required)

In the Bed and Breakfast there are lots of cosy seating throughout the property and lovely warm, modern central heating, and a large sitting room to relax in. Plus, there’s a home Cinema with 10' projector screen,  to escape to or kids play area outside; and for evenings or wetter days there is a 50" 4k WiFi smart tv in every bedroom, ensuring everyone will be entertained. There will be 9 bedrooms throughout this magnificent house (6 are open today), it has a rustic palette of colours, from mahogany through to gold, and tall oak mullioned windows letting in plenty of natural light. It has 10 bathrooms, some en-suite - but all private and luxurious.

For both:-

The grounds hold a tennis court, the oldest Squash court in England (reputedly), 5-a-side football, plus a badminton court and tranquil mill pond and water garden. Small ones will love the play area with climbing frames and swings. The house has lots to offer those wishing to get away from it all and relax. The magnificent country house is surrounded by National Trust land, perfect for exploring, wandering local trails, bird spotting, or playing and picnicking, and it is elevated high over the beautiful Vale of Porlock. With its unrivalled scenic views and peaceful, extensive gardens, this property is a nature lovers’ paradise.

Porlock village is about a mile away, and has three pubs, two supermarkets and a range of other shops. Porlock weir is a little further - a good 40 minute walk along the South West Coast Path, but takes you to a wonderful pub, the Bottom Ship, and the Porlock Weir Hotel and restaurant. Along the path you might see the Porlock Oyster farm in Bossington Bay (from a distance looking like tables in the water). 

Walks abound in the area, and from the back gate, you are immediately in the Holnicote Estate, the largest National Trust estate in the country. Yomp up the hill, and be rewarded with the stunning view from the top of North Hill, and maybe spot an Exmoor Pony
